The fictional 'Hugye-dong' where Park Dong-hoon and his brothers drink late at the corner stew shop doesn't exist on any map — but if you've watched My Mister and you walk out of Hangangjin Station Exit 2 on Line 6, the world the show was trying to capture is everywhere around you. The hillside between Itaewon and Hannam-dong is full of the long, slightly tired-looking stairways, narrow alleys, and small late-night eateries the show framed so carefully. It's still residential, still mostly Korean (not the international Hannam main strip), and at night it has the same quiet, almost mournful feeling the show built its tone around. A loose walk: leave Hangangjin Station, head uphill toward the Lee Jung-seop street, then drift north into the small lanes around the Hannam-dong market area. You'll pass family-run hofs (Korean pub-restaurants), tiny coffee stands, and the kind of stew shops that stay open till 1am with a single TV in the corner. Stop in if the door's open — the show's spiritual fix is sitting at one of these counters with a soup and a beer, not snapping photos. This isn't a movie set, so there's no single 'scene location' to pin. What you're chasing is the texture: the angle of the streetlights on a wet sidewalk, the warm steam from a back-alley shop, the way late-shift workers walk home alone. Visit after 8pm, when the light starts to match the show, and dress for hills.
